My patient canceled and then I was going to screen a patient they didn' t come either then I screened another paitnet, but she was only a class V. And had to leave so I didn't get anything done. We got our WREB schedules today though that is exciting.

aaahhhh I am frustrated with myself. I didn't pass either injection so this sucks. Oh well I learned a lot of what I was doing wrong though.

Requirements are done!!!

Yeah today I did my last pano thanks to Lis and then I saw my last IA it feels so great I love it so now we have 3 more sessions and I am seeing 3 IB and 1 IA. Yeah we are almost done.

Today went really well I got 94%. It doesn't mean that I will pass, but it is good. I feel pretty good about it but I am still nervous.

This morning I had two ODs to do but one didn't show so I was able to finish the first patient 2 quads of a two and 2 of a IB. I saw two patients this afternoon that was a little stressful. I finished a quad of a IV and mu class III from January came back and really needed a cleaning again. IT was really good though. I feel like I am getting faster it is good.

class IV

So It took me a few appointments but I was able to get my class IV patient all the way done. IT was a really good experience I really learned a lot. I really enjoy getting to know my patients and more about them and who they are.

IV

Okay I feel pretty good I only have 4 class IV left and 2 class II and 4 1A so not that bad. We have 4 1/2 clinic days left so 9 patients we should be able to make it.

I am so excited if both of these patients come back I will be good on IV. One of them is coming back for morning and afternoon and the other has 2 appointments. I still need IB IA and class II so that will be nice to get done too. I saw my husband today. It was good. He is going to be my Mock and board pt for LA.

I saw my board patient again today and had a really good experience so i think it will be great. I also found a class IV patient I am so excited to get it all done. He is such a nice guy.

Mock Board day

Today was okay. I passed but was really lucky because I missed three spots but two weren't test sights so I really only missed one, but if they all would have been test sights I barely would have passed. I am nervous though for the really board.

I was really hoping my patient was going to be a class IV because he was mod to advanced 6 years ago, but guess what a class V. I was a little disappointed. It wasn't really that great. Well I finally got some perio quads for this semester. 3 of a III so that is okay. I am worn out though. I am totally realdy to graduate.

BOARD PATIENT

Yeah yeah yeah. I found a mock board/ real board patient today it is awesome. I wasn't sure she would work at first, and she is missing a few teeth on the top. I am so relieved. I am relaxed. I feel like I should be jumping for joy, but instead I am relaxed and don't have enough energy to jump. Calm is better though.

frustrated

I am pretty frustrated today. My patient this morning didn't come and she wasn't coming until 9 so by 9:30 when she really wasn't coming it was too late to find a patient. I am so frustrated. Then this afternoon I tried really hard to get another patient because I had a really easy class 5. Oh well life goes on.

Yes one IB

Yes I got 1 1B done today. What a productive day!! Well and 2 sets of bitewings. Hopefully this isn't a sign of the semester. ButI guess for the first day of clinic it was okay. Slowly work my way back in.

Finally all my requirements are complete. Now everything would be extra quads to go with my other extra quads. I am relieved, but I should probably go back through and make sure I really have all of my requirements. That would be bad if I was short on tests or something. Anyways one more clinic session yes CHRISTMAS

good day

Today was a confidence booster. I actually had a pretty good day and didn't really feel stress at the end. This morning I saw a Ib so it was really nice. I passed up a lot of things too. I was finished with everything withing 50 minutes. I got sealants done, air powder polish and desensitizing and diagnodent all done it was awesome. I felt relaxed and really enjoyed the morning. In the afternoon it was good too becasue I got to pass off my nitrous PE and my last arestin PE. My patient was really cute. I only got two quads of a three done though, but it was good. The only thing that I didn't like about the nitrous was that it was hard to work on the maxillary anteriors because I counldn't really access them well with the nose piece.

Yeah I finally have all my class III scheduled. Now I just want easy patients at the VA, but the bad thing about that is that if my patients here don't show and I don't do any at the VA. My patient today smelt so bad. He supposedly smokes one pack a week. Hahahahahaha yeah right. I am ready to be done with school. I am getting burned out. My class III test are done

I am doing okay on requirements. I only need after today 6 more quads of a class III I think I have them scheduled. I am excited to be done with the semester. I like giving anesthetic. Today i gave it to a second patient. I had a really sensitive pt. I counldn't explore or probe. It was annoying. For the first time I used oraqix and I don' t know if I really believe in that or not. I am not so sure it really did anything, I guess I will just have to keep trying it and see if it is helpful. She was so nice and then you touch her mouht and she kind-of freaked. I didn't totally love working on her.

Mock board

Today was mock board. I was kind-of glad that I got to be a student examiner befor I had to actually be the clinician, but also it stressed me out a little because I wish I had already done it. I was a little anxious. Then my patient got here and I was glad to get going. I did my initial check and then the examiners had my patient for 45 minutes. It was really stressful. Then guess what they didn't qualify!!! Professor Alexander was the one who helped me find her and we decided that there were 12 big enough clicks with one quad and four other teeth. I don't know what is going to happen, but I guess it will be okay. I am glad it is over and glad for the experience.

YEAH YEAH

Today was a really good day. Morning lab was nice and then this afternoon I only saw a 5 year old. It was so nice and relaxing. In a way though I feel like I am wasting time because I tried to find another pt. to come after the 5 year old, but couldn't. I need class III really bad.
