Today actually went really well. I felt pretty good. It was hurried though. AAAHHH next semester

Mock Patienet

WOW!!! I was kind of stressing out about this whole patient thing, but once we got going it went well. I thought it was stressful though. I got really hot. I am not so sure how I am really going to scale that fast though because today our patients didn't really have calculus too much, we just had it cleaned off. My patient next week is a IB, but I know they are going to have more buildup than my patient did today. AAAAHHHH well get through though

PSR

Today was a really busy day. I already posted but it didn't work so this might not be as long. We did PSR which was fine, but we ran out of time to do PEs and my partner was the operator second so I feel like I stole her time. She was really fast though. I was just stressed because of time

Sealants

Yeah, I love sealants. I think that they are really fun. I really enjoyed clinic today and felt really comfortable with the sealants. I got to do a lot of sealants because my patient needed a lot so it was good practice. It all 7 I did I had one bubble/void in one so feel pretty good. I think I will really enjoy these in practice. I still have 2 more to do on my patient.

prophy jet

Today we learned how to use the prophy jet. I am not sure what I think about it. I didn't really like it at all, but maybe I could get used to it. It worked out fine though. We tried to remove some stain on the occlusal surface on 4 and 5 but then it wouldn't come off now I got my bubble burst because I have two cavities. AAAAAhhhhh. I am mad, I have been trying so hard, but oh well I need to go get them filled.

Ultrasonic scaling

Today was a different day. It was really interesting to learn how to ultrasonic scale. I thought it was pretty fun. We also learned how to sharpen our instruments. I hope I didn't ruin them. I am not sure I was totally doing it correct, but I hope I learn. Today though I don't know if it was the time change or what, but it went by really slow and I am really tired. i am not functioning very well.
